About PIRKA
PIRKA(saPporo medical university library Integrated Retrieval & Archival system)
is our libary system. PIRKA imply "lovely" in AINU word. PIRKA has been
constructed from the three following systems and is available through the Internet:

1) Library manegement system, including Internet OPAC(Online Public Access
Catalog)

2) Medical article network search system based on OvidNet2, including MEDLINE,
CINAHL, and more.

3) Electronic journal system, including Journals@Ovid.

The purpose of developed this interlocking system is to attempt to unify our library
services to make them more convenient and accessible for users.
